Knights Hospitaller

Confrérie fondée vers l'an 1070 pour venir en aide aux pèlerins à Jérusalem, il lui fut accordé le statut d'Ordre de l'Hôpital de Saint Jean par le pape en 1113. Les Hospitaliers portèrent l'habit noir jusqu'en 1259, puis l'échangèrent contre un habit rouge. L'étendard est une variante de celui trouvé dans la Chronica Majora.

The brotherhood was founded around 1070 to come to aid to pilgrims in Jerusalem. In 1113, it was elevated to the Order of the Hospital of Saint John by the pope. The Hospitaller knights wore a black mantle until 1259, and a red one from then on. The standard is a variant from the one found in the Chronica Majora.
