Dystopian Wars : Introduction and Airships 1

J'ai tout de suite été attiré par l'univers Steam Punk de Dystopian Wars, mais je ne m'y suis jamais engagé, préférant me concentrer sur l'antique-médiéval où j'ai encore tant de projets ! Le cinéma s'est d'ailleurs aussi intéressé à cet univers avec des films comme "Capitaine Sky et le Monde de Demain" (avec Jude Law et Gwyneth Paltrow), et "La Ligue des Gentlemen Extraordinaires" (avec Sean Connery).

La plupart des modèles Dystopian Wars sont d'une beauté prodigieuse ! C'est en fait la sortie des peintures contrastes de Citadel qui m'a décidé à en peindre quelques-uns. L'occasion idéale, dans cet univers uchronique, d'essayer quelques couleurs vives peu communes en antique-médiéval.

Vous ne trouverez donc pas ici d'armées complètes, mais seulement quelques vaisseaux isolés, juste pour le plaisir des yeux.

I have immediately been attracted by the Steam Punk universe of Dystopian Wars, but I never really went for it, because I still have so many projects in the antiquity/medieval period. Movies like "Captain Sky and the World of Tomorrow" (starring Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow), and "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" (starring Sean Connery) introduced the world of Steam Punk to the wider public.

Most of the Dystopian Wars models are absolutely gorgeous ! When Citadel came out with the new contrast paints, I decided to try them on a few of those models. The occasion seemed ideal, in this uchronic universe, to paint some bright and rarely used colours.  

So, you will not find complete armies in this section, but only a few isolated models, just as eye-candies.

Le premier modèle est la forteresse volante Zamiec du Commonwealth Pologne-Lithuanie, peinte avec la couleur contraste Volupus Pink ! Je n'ai pas monté les ailes côté intérieur des zeppelins, car elles constitueraient une gêne à l'atterrissage des avions, me semble-t-il.

The first model is the Zamiec Sky Fortress of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, painted with Citadel Contrast Volupus Pink ! I didn't mount the inside wings of the zeppelins, because they would, in my opinion, be a hindrance to the landing of the airplanes.

Le troisième et dernier modèle de cet article est le gyroplane japonais Tsukuyomi de l'Empire of the Blazing Sun, peint avec les couleurs contrastes Ork Flesh et Gryph-Charger Grey.
